GCBC Meets Tonight – Millage Rate Hearing Set for July 15
The Gordon County Board of Commissioners will hold its regular meeting this evening, beginning with a work session at 5 p.m. followed by the regular session at 6 p.m. Residents are reminded that tonight’s agenda does not include the public hearing on the proposed millage rate. That hearing is scheduled for the next meeting on Monday, July 15, when citizens will have the opportunity to sign up and speak during the designated public comment period.

Foxx Visits Downtown Farmers Market
This morning, Foxx paid a visit to the bustling Downtown Farmers Market, held every Tuesday and Saturday at the Downtown park. The market continues to be a community favorite, offering a wide selection of produce, handmade goods, baked items, and artisan crafts from local farmers and vendors. Shoppers were out early enjoying the summer weather and fresh finds.
Segursky Named Gordon County’s Distinguished Young Woman
Gordon County’s Distinguished Young Woman of the Year, Isabella Segursky, joined us this morning to talk about her upcoming competition. A rising senior at Sonoraville High School, Segursky will represent the county in the state showcase on July 12. Full of energy and confidence, she says she’s ready for the big stage.
