The Calhoun Animal Shelter will host a Saturday Stroll & Adoption Event this Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its facility located at 202 Kirby Road NW.
Community members are invited to stop by, meet the shelter’s adoptable dogs, and enjoy a relaxing stroll or playtime with them. The shelter will also offer on-site adoptions for $60, which includes a rabies vaccine and a spay/neuter certificate.
In addition, discounted spay/neuter certificates will be available for purchase: $75 for cats and $85 for dogs, both of which include a rabies vaccine certificate. Rabies-only certificates will be offered for $12.
The shelter encourages everyone to come out, support local animals, and consider giving a pet a loving new home.
