Friends, family members, and community supporters gathered at the Conference Center on Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Gordon County Campus on Dec. 16 to recognize 16 students who completed the Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
The graduates were members of Basic Law Enforcement Training Class #BL11-2025-02, a program designed to prepare participants for employment as entry-level law enforcement officers certified by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.
The following students successfully completed the program: Chase Cole, Blake Delay, Cristian Deleon, Devon Dornan, Robert Edwards, Robert Heck, William Locke, Castulo Molina, Owen Morales, Edwin Newman, Jacob Roberts, David Sarellano, Larry Silvers, Zachary Sugden, Trent Thompson, and James Weesner.
The ceremony marked the culmination of months of training and instruction as the graduates prepare to begin careers in law enforcement.
