Officers responded around 6:40 a.m. after reports that a male and female robbed the store. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, and the investigation is ongoing.

House Fire in Fairmount: Gordon County Fire & Rescue responded to a structure fire around 2 a.m. Sunday at a home on Spring Street SE in Fairmount. The residence was fully involved upon arrival, and crews conducted defensive operations. All occupants escaped safely, but the home was deemed a total loss. No injuries were reported.
