Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) is inviting prospective students and their families to explore educational opportunities during a series of Open House events at its Gordon County Campus in Calhoun.
The Gordon County Campus will host two Open House sessions on Tuesday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 17, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Both events will take place in Building 400, Room 4122.
The Open House events will give potential students and their families an opportunity to learn more about the programs and resources available at GNTC while getting a firsthand look at the campus.
Each tour will include registration, a panel discussion, campus tours highlighting various programs, and a presentation showcasing the college’s unique benefits. Attendees will also receive a step-by-step overview of the enrollment process, from submitting an application through academic advising.
College officials say the events are especially beneficial for high school students considering their next steps after graduation, as well as high school counselors interested in scheduling group tours.
GNTC is also encouraging prospective students to take advantage of its Free Application Month throughout November, allowing students to apply for admission without paying an application fee.
The Open House events are scheduled to last approximately one and a half to two hours.
