VAC Donation Area Temporarily Closed Due to Staff Shortage

SHARE NOW

The Voluntary Action Center (VAC) has temporarily closed its donation area due to a staff shortage. The closure will remain in effect until Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, with donations resuming at 9 a.m.

During the closure, the VAC is asking the public not to leave donation items outside or near the building. For safety and health reasons, any items left outside the facility during this time will be discarded.

VAC officials say they appreciate the community’s understanding and look forward to accepting donations again once the donation area reopens on Monday.
