The Gordon County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that an 81-year-old Calhoun woman has died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier this month.
According to Gordon County Coroner Nick Blalock, Jeanne Hobgood, 81, succumbed to injuries she received in a crash that occurred on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
The Coroner’s Office stated it continues to support the City of Calhoun Police Department as the investigation proceeds, as well as the family of Mrs. Hobgood during this difficult time.
