Several streets in downtown Calhoun will be closed to traffic beginning Friday, April 24th at 12:00 p.m., according to an announcement from city officials.
The closures will impact key roadways in the downtown area, including Court Street, South King Street, North Park Avenue, South Park Avenue, and Oothcalooga Street.
Officials have not specified how long the closures will remain in place, but drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, expect delays, and use alternate routes when traveling through the area.
The temporary closures are expected to affect both motorists and pedestrians, particularly during peak hours. Residents and visitors are advised to use caution, follow posted signage, and remain aware of any detours or traffic control measures in place.
