Mrs. Brenda Gail Mills, age 65, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her home.
Brenda was born on May 29, 1960, to the late Robert Lee and Jessie Jewell Ward Boling. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory Gene Mills; her brothers, Randall Lee “Bo” Boling, Steve Ray Boling, and Timothy Dewayne Boling; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Gloria Mills.
Brenda was a strong, independent woman whose life was centered around caring for others. She devoted herself to her family with unwavering love and compassion and was known as the one everyone could depend on. Her caring spirit extended beyond her home into her work in the medical field, where she faithfully served with the Dental Health Department for the North Georgia Health District. Brenda was a 1978 graduate of Southeast High School and also attended Dekalb Technical College.
Though private in nature, Brenda deeply loved her family and found her greatest joy in supporting and caring for those she loved. Her strength, kindness, and dedication will be remembered always by those who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Brandon and Karen Jackson of Chatsworth, GA; step-daughter, Stasha and Brandon Wright of Dalton, GA; step-son, Kevin Mills of Dadeville, AL; grandchildren, Dawson Jackson, Grayson Jackson, Madison Mills and Josh Jantz, Katie Mills, Brody Wright, and Cade Wright; great-grandchildren, Mia Perez and Daisy Perez; sister, Patty Boling of Dalton, GA; brother, Bobby and Kim Boling of Chatsworth, GA; along with several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brenda Gail Mills will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Stan Lester officiating. She will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Shawn Whaley, Andy Boling, Blake Boling, Daniel Boling, Zach Teem, and Chad Teem honored to serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for final expenses.
