Georgia Northwestern Technical College is accepting applications for a part-time Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Lab Adjunct Instructor position based at the Floyd County Campus.
The position requires on-campus work and occasional travel to other GNTC campuses and clinical sites throughout the region. The instructor will work under the supervision of the Dean of Nursing and Health Technologies and will assist with clinical education and laboratory instruction for Diagnostic Medical Sonography students.
Responsibilities include scheduling student clinical rotations, visiting clinical sites to monitor student progress, assisting with classroom and laboratory instruction, administering exams, maintaining records, tutoring students, obtaining classroom materials, and supporting program operations.
Qualified applicants must hold current national sonography credentials in Abdomen and OB specialties and have at least two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer. Previous higher education teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and be willing to travel up to two hours from Rome for clinical visits.
The position offers an hourly wage of $30.60 and averages approximately 29 hours per week.
As a part-time position, no benefits are available.
