Families are invited to celebrate books, learning and the fall season during the upcoming Fall Into Reading event in Calhoun.
The event will be held Friday, October 23, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Calhoun Early Learning Academy.
Fall Into Reading is presented by the Calhoun-Gordon Council for a Literate Community and is designed to encourage literacy and a lifelong love of reading among children and families.
The fall-themed event promotes the message that literacy is a lifestyle while bringing the community together to support young readers and lifelong learners.
Calhoun City Schools and United Way are also supporting the event.
Families are encouraged to mark their calendars for Friday, October 23, and join the Fall Into Reading celebration at the Calhoun Early Learning Academy.
