AdventHealth Medical Group has welcomed Destiny Phillips, FNP-C, to its Family Medicine practice at Adairsville Health Park.
Phillips is a certified family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients with a wide range of health needs. Her services include acute and chronic disease management, diabetes care, treatment of minor injuries, preventive medicine, routine health screenings, wellness exams, mental health care, weight management and women’s and men’s healthcare.
She also provides immunizations, school and sports physicals, minor office procedures and visits for personal illnesses.
According to AdventHealth, Phillips takes a whole-person approach to healthcare and is committed to offering traditional and holistic options that address the body, mind and spirit. She works closely with patients to understand their individual needs and help them work toward their best possible health.
Phillips earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago.
Outside of her work in healthcare, Phillips enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
Phillips is now seeing patients at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Adairsville Health Park, located at 21 Commerce Parkway in Adairsville.
