The proposed budget for Gordon County will be the topic of a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Judicial Building located at 101 S Piedmont Street, Calhoun. Citizen input is encouraged as property taxes are expected to rise while Administrator Jim Ledbetter has stated that operational cuts for supplies and contractors are necessary as a result of HB 581.
