Mary was a near-lifetime resident of Anniston, Alabama. Even after moving to Georgia for health reasons to be with her children about seven years prior to her passing, she continued to bleed crimson and white as an avid University of Alabama football fan. She was a faithful member of both Saks Baptist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama, and attended Crane Eater Community Church when healthy enough after moving to Georgia. She loved to hear good southern gospel music and constantly covered her family in prayer. Mary loved nature, her dog Pru, and her cat Crimson (I told you she loved Bama football). Family was the most important earthly thing to her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crane Eater Community Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM from Crane Eater Community Church with Pastor Paul Gay officiating. Her grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. A private burial will be held in Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston, Alabama.
