Providence Men’s Shelter
Opened Friday at 6:00 p.m., this shelter will remain open with closure based on weather conditions. It is available to men only, and pets are not allowed.

Fairmount Community Center
This location will open Saturday as needed. Transportation assistance is available by contacting Fairmount Police Department at 706-337-5503.

All warming shelters will provide a heated space where individuals can sit, rest, and stay warm overnight. Light food, snacks, and drinks will also be available. Guests are expected to respect the facilities, volunteers, and others using the shelters. Anyone who fails to follow these expectations or causes property damage may be asked to leave.

Emergency officials note that additional warming shelters may be opened on an as-needed basis as weather conditions evolve. Residents are encouraged to monitor local updates and share this information with anyone who may need assistance staying warm during the cold temperatures.
