Calhoun High School had a strong showing at the GHSA State Championship as two Yellow Jacket divers turned in standout performances and brought home state medals.
Davis Ruddell finished as the state runner-up, earning a silver medal after an impressive series of dives against top competition from across Georgia. Ruddell’s performance capped off a strong season and placed him among the elite divers in the state.
Joining him on the medal stand was Emery Noffsinger, who claimed the bronze medal with a third-place finish. Noffsinger’s consistency and execution throughout the competition secured her a spot among the state’s best.
Both athletes represented Calhoun High with distinction on the state’s biggest stage, highlighting the continued success of the Yellow Jackets’ diving program.
