Calhoun City Schools has announced a new partnership with Mountain Education, Inc. to offer flexible evening classes for students starting in the 2025–2026 school year. As the 19th North Georgia campus, Mountain Ed at Calhoun will operate on the Calhoun Middle School campus in the evenings, providing students with additional options for credit recovery, flexible scheduling, and college and career support.
Dr. Brandi Hayes and Mrs. Misty Lewis will serve as site principals for Mountain Ed.’s evening program, in addition to their current leadership roles for Calhoun City Schools —Dr. Hayes as Director of College and Career Programs and Mrs. Lewis as Assistant Principal at Calhoun High School.
