Motorists traveling through Floyd County should expect delays later this week as roadway repairs are scheduled along Martha Berry Boulevard.
Weather permitting, crews will close the right southbound lane of U.S. Highway 27/Martha Berry Boulevard on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, near 10th Street. The closure is scheduled each day from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
According to transportation officials, the work is being conducted to repair the roadway and was rescheduled from last week.
Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling through the area, watch for workers and equipment near the roadway, and be prepared for possible delays.
