NWS WEATHER UPDATE: Thunderstorms will return to our area this afternoon and evening. A few storms could become severe and capable of producing damaging wind gusts and hail in addition to frequent lightning and locally heavy rain. The highest risk for severe weather will be across far north Georgia.
