Beatrice King Pratt
August 9, 1931 - October 24, 2025

Mrs. Beatrice King Pratt, age 94, of Adairsville passed away peacefully Friday, October 24, 2025, with her beloved daughter at her side.

Beatrice was born in Dalton, GA, August 9, 1931, to the late Norman King and Viola Hall King. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Leonard Pratt, son, Gary Pratt, special niece, Lynn Parker and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Stuart French of Calhoun; grandchildren, Robert Pratt, Chelsea French, and Logan French; great-granddaughter, Charli Belle Tennant; special niece, Gail Strong; and several nieces and nephews.

She attended Canaan Land Christian Center; her faith guided and strengthened her throughout her life. Together with her husband, Cecil, she owned and operated Pratt’s Grocery and Pratt’s Trailer Park, serving and supporting their community with hard work and heart.

Having lost her parents at a very young age, she was lovingly raised by her dear sister Surilla, alongside several siblings who remained close throughout their lives. From those early challenges, she developed a deep appreciation for family — one she carried forward in everything she did.

She leaves behind a legacy of love for her family and their history. She was a genuine, good person — honest, selfless, and always putting others first. Her kindness was felt by everyone who knew her. She found comfort and joy in listening to southern gospel music, its familiar melodies surrounding her with peace and hope.

Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering devotion — qualities her family and friends will forever hold in their hearts.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Steve Morrow officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Beatrice’s special CNAs at Gordon Health and Rehab for their exceptional care and kindness.
