Timothy Edward “Tim” Nichols, age 57 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his residence.
Tim was born on March 23, 1968, to Joyce Mantz Nichols and the late Rev. Wendell Nichols. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Faith Anne Nichols.
Tim and his wife Susan opened their home and hearts as foster parents, caring for many children, including those with special needs and medical challenges. Tim dedicated over 25 years of his career as a manager with Chick-fil-A, where he was known for his strong work ethic and leadership. Beyond his career, he used his skills to rebuild donated computers, generously giving them to college students and anyone in need. Tim was a devoted husband, father, and family man. He found joy in cooking, working hard, and—above all—loving his family, always putting them first. His life reflected compassion, service, and love that touched countless lives.
Tim is survived by: his wife, Susan Moyer Nichols; their children, Stephen Morris, William Nichols, Antonio Nichols, Ezekiel Nichols, Billy Nichols, Timmy Nichols, Carolyn Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols, Kinsey Nichols, and Anna Kate Nichols; their three foster children; brother, Robby Nichols; and father-in-law, William Moyer.
