ATLANTA, Ga. — June 15, 2025 — A Jacksonville-based Pepsi distributor has recalled more than 19,000 cases of Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar after discovering the product was mislabeled and contains the full sugar version of the soda, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA reports that 19,203 cases were incorrectly packaged with Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar labeling but actually contain regular Dr. Pepper. These cases were distributed throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
Pepsi Beverages Company, located in Jacksonville near Bowden Road and Interstate 95, initiated the recall on May 23. The recall remains ongoing as the company works to retrieve affected products.
