The Gordon County Schools Board of Education officially named Mrs. Natasha Hall as the district’s new Special Education Coordinator during its May 11 meeting.

Prior to her current role, Hall served at Sonoraville High School as both lead special education teacher and special education math teacher. During her time there, she worked with students in inclusion and resource settings, mentored fellow educators, collaborated closely with families, and helped oversee scheduling and special education services.
Hall earned an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from University of West Georgia. She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University.
In 2019, Hall was recognized as Sonoraville High School Teacher of the Year. She is also a graduate of the Gordon County Aspiring Leaders Program Cohort 2.
School officials praised Hall’s dedication to supporting students and educators throughout her career and expressed confidence in her leadership as she takes on the districtwide role.
