Interstate 75 northbound has reopened in the Calhoun area following an earlier crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer, according to the Calhoun Police Department.
Police said traffic remains heavy following the incident, and motorists should expect difficult travel conditions and continued delays for approximately the next hour as congestion clears.
Drivers traveling through the area are being asked to use caution, reduce their speed and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
Motorists should also follow the directions of law enforcement officers and emergency personnel working in the area.
The Calhoun Police Department thanked drivers for their patience and cooperation as traffic conditions return to normal.
