Wilma McDougle Davis, age 85, of Rome, and formerly of Calhoun, passed away Friday morning, July 4th, at her residence.

Donald “Don” George Jackson, age 84, of Gordon County, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 3rd, in Advent Gordon Hospital.

Nancy Jane (Welch) Sheriff, 95, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was born in Chattahoochee, Florida, on June 25, 1930.

Daisy Mae Sweatt (McGruder), lovingly called “Nan”, was born on November 11, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late David and Mattie Stallings formerly of Harlan, Kentucky. She passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
